Lottery funding |
 |
We are presently applying for
Lottery funding under the Awards For All scheme. This will enable us to
purchase equipment that we believe is necessary for our fight to
preserve our transport heritage.
The type of equipment we are
hoping to obtain includes: voice recording equipment; a computer with a
CD writer, so we can put individual photo collections under one roof; a
digital camera; a video camera; and an episcope, which projects onto a
screen photographs, newspaper cuttings and those unusual, rare or
otherwise interesting pictures that are not available on slides.
Mainland groups usually refer to this machine as the ‘photo-toaster’. |

enabled the group to receive this award. Also a big thank you to Hugh
MacInnes, Cuan Ard Press, Lionel, Ness. |

| Following a
recent application to Awards For All for the purchase of garage equipment
and tools, we are pleased to report that this has also been successful and
that a grant of £4,995 was received in December 2005.

carry out renovations and repairs to the vehicles and plant we are striving
