Roddy MacAskill (RMA) Ardhasaig, Isle of Harris, gritter fleet and
both were ex-council |

of Harris, gritter fleet, the one on the right OJS 785T is
ex-council |

gritters were purchased by Malcolm Smith & Sons, Stornoway, in the
winter of 2001-2002, and were used to grit the Stornoway area, a Bedford
AWD registration number L797 HBH and two Ford Iveco Cargo’s reg no’s
J541 FAS and H367 XST |

Leyland Daf 45 registration number N698 RJS is owned by the Western
Isles Council and has a demountable body seen here being loaded at
5.00am at the Marybank salt pile by the Council’s Massey Ferguson 365
loader |

Council and is looking very smart after being completely refurbished by
A.F. Ross and Son, Girvan, and is used for gritting in Harris.
